Performer Bio:
Jaren George: Born and raised in New York City, Jaren is a comedian based in Portland, OR. He just wants you (the audience) to be engaged and feed off his intensely high charismatic ways. Jaren’s style for jokes can only be described as “energetic storytelling” with a second main entree of “Ah, I see what he did there” because he spoils you. Opened for national touring headlining comedians like Sterling Scott, Chris Gethard, and Gary Gulman, He was also voted in 2022 as one of Willamette Week’s Funniest Five Comedians in Portland and Portland Mercury’s 2023 Geniuses of Comedy. He hosts Thursday Comedy at Al’s Den, Optimism (A Stand-Up Comedy Game Show) and co-hosts Kickstand’s Comedy in the Park. He also conveniently runs a podcast called IT Desk. You can see him walking around in the hit HULU show Shrill. Your cat adores him.
Gabby Jesus has been performing comedy for 10+ years. She has performed all over the PNW and was featured on the Bad Girls Comedy Tour in May 2019, making multiple appearances in Washington, California, and Oregon. She is well known at Savage Henry Comedy Fest in Arcata, CA and helps manage Bad Girl Comedy Showcases. Gabby has helped produce many shows on the Oregon coast and she is also a founding member of an all female comedy open-mic. Jesus has worked with many other talented comics such as Andy Andrist (Doug Stanhope’s Unbookables) and Wylie Roberts (starred in 2002 film Hot Chick and former writer for Mad TV). Gabby Jesus’s comedy can be described as ‘blue humor’ as she jokes about sex and dating life. Her humorous views on being a single mother and using birth control has landed her many comedy charity gigs with Planned Parenthood Sponsors and she plans on recording her first album in 2025.
